The Second Sino-US Precision Medicine International Training is Planned

October 1st of 2017, Dr. Wei Wu and Dr. Bruce MacFadyen at US-China Center for Medical Exchange announced that the Second Sino-US Precision Medicine International Training program is planned. The planning process include curriculum design, fundraising and inviting trainees.

The training program is designed to increase knowledge of Chinese high-level hospital leaders of China in the area of American Healthcare management and Precision Medicine and strengthen the dialog between the U.S. and China on healthcare.

The second training program hopes to invite 30 Chinese high-level hospital administrators to come to Texas Medical Center to hear from and exchange ideas with American hospital high-level administrators. Like the first delegation, they will visit MD Anderson Cancer Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, St. Luke’s Hospital, Methodist Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital and Harris County Hospital, Houston Mayor’s Office, Houston Health Department and Texas Department of State Health Services.  In addition, the delegation will visit Texas Heart Institute and Texas Children’s Hospital this time.
